MD PAPER, a single sheet created in the 1960s, marks the origin of MD PRODUCT. Through years of working closely with this paper, the essential value of “writing” became clear – the precious time spent facing oneself, arranging thoughts and expressing a genuine sensibility.

MD PAPER WHITE has been the foundation of the range since the beginning- use in the Midori’s Diaries, Daily Journal and Diamond Memo, it remains long-standing favourite.
MD PAPER Cream, introduced in 2006, offers a warmer tone that is gentler on the eye. With the perfect balance of smoothness and subtle resistance, it is especially well suited to fountain pens.
MD Paper Cotton, developed in 2013, incorporates 20% cotton pulp for distinctly softy, airy texture. Durable and long-lasting, it works beautifully wtih both fountain pens and coloured pencils.
